Demos Krouskos, Director
Demos is
the chief executive officer of North Richmond Community Health as well as the
director of CEH.
Demos migrated to Melbourne
with his family from Greece
in 1954. Since 1985, he has held a number of positions in the
health care sector including six years as executive officer with the health
consumer organisation Preston/Northcote District Health Council. In 1991, he was
appointed the chief executive officer of North Richmond Community Health Centre
and in 1999, director for the Centre for Culture, Ethnicity and Health.
His professional interests include health and cultural
diversity, health issues affecting
refugees and migrants, health equity and human rights, health of Indigenous
Australians, the development of ethical health care practice and health care
service research. Demos was awarded the Centenary Medal in 2000 for services to
community health.

Michal Morris, Executive Manager
Michal has over 10 years' experience in developing
policies and programs that support cultural diversity, human rights and
wellbeing. She was responsible for multicultural policy within the Department
of Human Services and managed the engagement portfolio for the Office of
Women's Policy, where she played a key role in events such as the Victorian
Premier's Women's Summit
and the Women's Health and Wellbeing Forum. As executive officer at the Ethnic
Communities' Council of Victoria, she coordinated the Asylum Seeker and
Temporary Protection Visa policy and campaign. Michal has a Masters of
Communication and has worked as a radio broadcaster for the ABC and a trainer
for the National Ethnic Media Broadcasting Council.

Sabina Tresise, Information Services Coordinator
Sabina maintains the CEH library collection including
web-based resources and delivers an information and reference service to CEH
clients and staff. Before immigrating to Australia
in 2001, Sabina worked with the Swiss Red Cross in Berne,
where she managed their library and archives. In this position she acquired
skills and experience in information management and information service
delivery in the health, community, migration and international development
sectors. Sabina recently completed her diploma in library and information
studies in order to gain accreditation in Australia.

Zayne
D'Crus, Communications Officer
Zayne is responsible for
CEH's publications, media and web services, as well as a range of social marketing and cross-cultural communications projects. His previous role was with Australian Volunteers
International (AVI), where he implemented the agency's marketing strategy, created
publications for diverse audiences and planned campaigns to promote
volunteering within the education, health, finance and community development
sectors. As AVI's media adviser, Zayne trained staff and volunteers in public representation, media interview techniques and
culturally appropriate communication.

Lisa
Davidson, Training Coordinator
Lisa
works with all the CEH programs to ensure a coordinated response in training
activities. She provides advice and assistance to
program areas in strategic planning, development and implementation of training
activities and services. Before joining CEH, Lisa spent 12 years working
in Southern Africa for a number of community-based health programs with a strong focus on community health training and
education.

Viv Fox, Office Manager
Viv oversees all aspects of administration at CEH.
Trained as an early childhood educator, she has over 25 years' experience
working with children from diverse backgrounds, starting in London in the early 1970s and eventually
establishing a day care centre for an independent school in Armadale in I992.
Viv became a volunteer at North Richmond Community Health Ltd, a position
which eventually led to her current role at CEH.
