This program assists health and community service providers to offer a high quality of care to clients of refugee or migrant backgrounds, through training, information and project delivery. HSD specialises in language services.
MGHP works to ensure that the needs of migrant and refugee communities are included in statewide responses to problem gambling. It works with both Gambler's Help services and multicultural and ethno-specific organisations to increase access to services.
MHSS supports refugee and migrant communities in the areas of sexually transmissible infections and blood-borne viruses. It also offers training and resources to mainstream health service providers.
CEH staff collaborate across all programs to deliver a range of services in training, social marketing, resource development, research, education and support.
