Video: Pastor Smith explains why faith leaders play an important role in health

Pastor Smith explains his role as a faith leader in helping improve his community’s health.

One of the ways he does this is by helping raise awareness around HIV and blood-borne viruses (BBVs) prevention and treatment, as well as helps break down stigma and barriers to treatment.

His role as a faith leader is to help educate his community and helps people through difficult times. Faith leaders have easy access to the community. Multicultural Community Action Network (M-CAN) works with faith leaders to gain access into refugee and migrant communities.
